Terms & Conditions

HERITAGE DEFENSE GROUP

By registering for or attending any Heritage Defense Group (“HDG”) course, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Assumption of Risk

All firearms, defensive, and tactical training involve inherent risks, including serious injury or death. By participating in any class or activity:

  • You acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with firearms handling, live-fire exercises, and physical activities.

  • You agree to follow all safety instructions provided by HDG instructors at all times.

  • You understand that improper actions, negligence, or failure to follow guidance can result in accidents.

2. Waiver and Release

All students must sign HDG’s liability waiver prior to participation. By doing so, you:

  • Release HDG, its instructors, staff, and affiliates from any liability for injury, property damage, or loss incurred during training.

  • Agree not to hold HDG responsible for any claims arising from participation in classes, including travel to and from the training site.

3. Safety Compliance

  • Students must adhere to all range and training safety rules.

  • Instructors have final authority on all safety-related decisions.

  • Failure to comply with safety rules may result in immediate removal from the class without refund.

  • Eye and ear protection is required for all live-fire exercises.

4. Age Requirements

  • Students must meet the minimum age requirement for each course.

  • Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for youth-focused courses (such as Children’s Firearms Safety Fundamentals).

5. Firearms, Ammunition, and Gear

  • Students are responsible for providing any personal firearms, ammunition, and gear required for the course unless otherwise stated.

  • All firearms must be in good working condition and handled safely.

  • HDG reserves the right to inspect and refuse unsafe firearms or ammunition.

6. Health and Physical Readiness

  • Students should be in adequate physical and mental condition to safely participate.

  • If you have any medical conditions or physical limitations, you must disclose them before the course begins.

7. Legal Compliance

  • Students are responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding firearms, use of force, and self-defense.

  • HDG does not provide legal advice, and participation in training does not guarantee legal compliance or proficiency.

Heritage Defense Group reserves the right to refuse service and training to anyone.
