Family Firearms Fundamentals is a family-friendly class designed for parents and children as young as five years old to learn the essentials of safe, responsible firearm handling. This course teaches the foundational rules of firearms safety, how to properly store and secure firearms in the home, and age-appropriate guidance for introducing kids to shooting in a safe, supervised environment. Families also gain awareness of the importance of responsible gun ownership, the value of safety-minded habits, and the joy that comes from learning and enjoying the shooting sports together. It’s the perfect first step for families who want to build confidence, respect, and lifelong safety skills around firearms.
TACTICAL FIRST AID

DESCRIPTION
Tactical First Aid: Be Ready for Any Emergency is a practical, hands-on class designed to equip everyday people with the skills and confidence to respond effectively in critical moments. Participants learn the fundamentals of emergency first aid, including CPR, bleeding control, and how to recognize life-threatening injuries. The course also covers the essential components of building and maintaining an Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK), along with practical demonstrations on using tourniquets, pressure dressings, and other lifesaving tools. Whether at home, on the job, or out in the community, this class empowers students to act decisively and make a difference when seconds matter.

Don’t Be A Victim - Awareness: Your First Line of Defense is a 2-hour classroom-based course focused on developing real-world situational awareness and personal safety mindset. This class teaches students how to recognize potential threats early, understand pre-incident indicators, and make better decisions to avoid dangerous situations before they escalate.
Students will learn how criminals select victims, how to maintain awareness in everyday environments, and practical strategies to reduce risk and increase personal safety. The goal is not fear—but preparedness, confidence, and control.

This class is ideal for anyone who wants to take responsibility for their personal safety and reduce the likelihood of becoming a victim.
REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
All class registrations are final. Refunds are only considered for verified emergencies, such as medical emergencies, hospitalization, or death in the family. Documentation may be requested.
For non-emergency situations, students may receive a one-time class credit toward a future class if they notify HDG at least 48 hours in advance. Credits must be used within 90 days and are generally non-transferable.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice, or failure to attend, result in forfeiture of the class fee unless it qualifies as a verified emergency. If HDG cancels a class, students will receive either a free transfer to the next class or a full refund.
By registering, students agree to these terms.
RANGE FEES
Range fees are separate, and are not included in the class price. Fees vary by location and are generally between $30-$40 per person. This is a standard industry practice set by the hosting range and the fee applies to everyone, including the instructors and spectators. Prior to the class event, we will notify you of the range fees.
